CamRanger 2 Battery

Crucial part of my setup. Shooting multiple exposures without moving the camera, showing the client a large live view of shot and being able to know that I nailed the focus. Very reliable device. If it's not working, it's not plugged in!

I’ve been a CamRanger user from the beginning. CamRanger 2 is the reason Tether Tools stopped selling wireless tethering. CR2 is that good. The connecting process is simple, and raw files from my Canon R5 transfer quickly for previewing and sharing. I like the included editing tools for creating quick images to send for approvals to clients. What I especially like is how quickly orders get shipped from CamRanger to my location in Ogden, Utah.

I bought the Camranger2 on a recommendation for light painting. It is worth every penny I paid and more! Also very responsive as a company. I had a specific need for an extreme battery time and they helped me through the situation. I can’t recomment this company and their product enough!

Loved the original CR, the 2 is great too. I realized right away I needed extra batteries. I use it with my Nikon D810 & D800 cameras, using shooting into a 13” MacBook Pro, sometimes to my iPhone 8. My clients love to see the images (if I show them!) The Camranger 2 app works better for zooming in for details. Honestly I’ve barely used the focus stacking and other features but while virus-slow thought I’d better dig into all the features. It seems like the range is better too, I am often 100’ away from camera.
