The original CamRanger requires registering each phone, tablet, and computer with your CamRanger, which requires Internet access. Neither the CamRanger 2 nor the CamRanger mini require registration.
If you are using the CamRanger 2 or the CamRanger mini and are being prompted to register, you are using the wrong CamRanger application and need to switch to the correct one.
The CamRanger 2 app icon has a red background and the CamRanger mini has a blue background.
