When shooting with a Nikon camera and the CamRanger 2, remote flash control is possible. If an external flash is connected to a Nikon camera, a flash toggle button will appear in the camera control section.
The user can then remotely turn the flash off and on. The small, red dot on the bottom right of the flash button indicates that the flash is charged and ready to fire.
Remotely enabling or disabling the flash can be very useful for quickly switching between flash and ambient light shots without having to go over and touch the camera.
Currently this feature is only available for Nikon. We hope to add support for Canon as well in the future. Unfortunately, remote flash control is not currently possible with Sony or Fuji cameras.
