I have been using the CamRanger for enough years that I can remember when I first started. I have used and still have a couple White ones, couple of Camranger Mini's and the current version model . I have always used with Nikon D3's, D5's and Sony a9.
1) First usage and still current usage is MMA Cageside and apron of Boxing ring. Camranger allows me to post or sent to promoters sites almost real time and more importantly to me, get to show images captured to fighters during the "After Party". Before Camranger in order for me to sent files to publications within minute's of the fight (ESPN needed fight images within two minutes of fight ending and many times before the fight ended. Their goal was to post fight images within 30 seconds of fight ending. Climbing under a boxing ring with flash cards and a laptop was no fun at all;
2) Hooking a D3 with a Camranger to a 8" telescope made focusing while looking at I-pad live view so much easier then focusing thru a scope.
3) Setting up a remote camera with capturing images of birds in a nest while being away from the area and shooting from a live view on I-pad got me captures that I would never be able to get;
4) I can say that just that about any shooting I do be for work or personal use I use my CamRangers to show clients their portraits , check exposures, have a additional card backup that is in the Camranger and there's just no reason not to use them if you have them, its not like you would ever wear them out they are like the Energizer Bunny. I should mention that many times when using multiple camera's I use multiple Camrangers with no issues.
When it comes to Customer service , anytime in the past ten years that I had a question. They got back to me in hours be it weekday or weekend, "Customer Service Extraordaire"
Any questions, feel free to call me.

With the L bracket and the camranger attached to the left side it's almost like having a second handle to balance the camera in spite of the added weight and slightly forced cable position. So far it's working nicely though I would have like a more elegant and lighter option for attaching the device. I may upgrade to a smallrig cage and try to screw on the camranger without the mounting plate, but for now this is doing well.
